Cenap Asci, undersecretary of Ministry of Customs and Trade of Turkey and his delegation met and negotiated with Masoud Karbasian , president of Iran Customs in Tehran.
Based on the report of the public relations office of Iran customs, this meeting aimed at removing the customs obstacles between the two countries in order to boost trade to 30 billion dollars, integrating cross-border trade single window and implementation of phase 2 of e-TIR .
During the meeting Masoud Karbasian the president of Iran customs stressed on the statements of the two countries’ presidents to expand the current trade ties and boost it to 30 billion dollars which has tightened the responsibilities of customs administrations for facilitating the trade between the two countries.
Karbasian further referred to the successful implementation of pilot e-TIR in Iran and Turkey for the first time in the world and expressed hope for the second phase of the project to be successfully implemented soon.
Based on this report , Cenap Asci, undersecretary of Turkish ministry of Customs and Trade appreciated the efforts of Iran customs for facilitating the trade between the two countries and emphasized on more cooperation of the two Customs Administrations of Iran and Turkey in this regard.
